Sam Strömerstén is President and CEO of the Sidel Group. He joined Sidel in January 2016, with more tha 30 years of global experience in the beverage-packaging industry, which began in 1984 at Alfa Laval, where he joined as a Production Manager. He went on to hold a number of different positions at Alfa Laval before joining Tetra Pak in 1992, where he was Executive Vice President Supply Chain Operations and subsequently joined the Tetra Pak global leadership team in 1999 as President of Processing Systems. A Swedish national, Sam holds a master’s degree in engineering from Lund University in Sweden.
Juergen Voss is Executive Vice President Finance, IT & Strategic Planning, responsible for finance, controlling, business strategy and transformation, and information systems. He joined Sidel in 2016 from Tetra Pak , where held a number of leadership positions within the beverage-packaging and equipment business, including Cluster Leader for Finance & Business Transformation for Europe & Central Asia, from 2000 to 2016. Juergen began his career in the automotive division of Bosch in Germany and France. A German national, he holds a master's degree in business administration (finance and auditing) from Westfaelische Wilhelms-University, Muenster, Germany, and has completed further executive studies at IMD Business School in Switzerland, and Ashridge Business School in the United Kingdom.
Clive Smith is Executive Vice President of Customer Management for the Asia, Oceania & Africa (AOA) Region. He joined Sidel in 1993, and for the majority of his tenure, has held senior leadership positions around the world. These have included UK Managing Director, Zone Commercial Director and Zone Vice President of the Greater Middle East & Africa Region. Clive brings extensive experience related to understanding the needs of both global and local beverage producers of all sizes in all regions. A British national, he holds a bachelor's degree in Mineral Engineering from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom, where he also completed a strategy programme at Ashridge Business School.
Andrea Forzenigo is Executive Vice President of Product Supply & Industrial Base Management. He joined Sidel in 2008 as Vice President of Global Product Supply with responsibility for managing factories in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Prior to Sidel, Andrea was Vice President of Global Supply at Nortel Networks, with responsibility for driving operational performance improvement within production and subcontracting. He also has a decade of experience working in manufacturing operations for international companies, including Pentair, General Electric and Hewlett Packard. Andrea hails from Italy and holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy, where he specialised in production systems.
José Luis Yécora is Executive Vice President Sourcing , with overall responsibility for procurement and sourcing strategy. He joined Sidel in 2016, with more than 25 years of sourcing experience, most recently from his previous role as Supplier Management Director for Capital & Factory Equipment at Tetra Pak in Modena, Italy, which he assumed in 2007. Prior to Tetra Pak, José also held senior supply-chain positions for Eaton Automotive in Monaco and France (1996-2007) and at SEAT, a division of Volkswagen Group, in Spain (1991-1995). José is a Spanish national with an MBA from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, a degree in international affairs from Central University of Barcelona, and a bachelor's degree in law from University of Navarra in Spain.
Pavel Shevchuk is Executive Vice President Services. He joined Sidel in 2012 and has held various roles including Regional Commercial Director of Russia & the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and most recently, Zone Vice President for Europe & Central Asia. Prior to joining Sidel, Pavel spent a decade working at Tetra Pak, where he gained experience in a variety of commercial and business-development roles in Ukraine and Indonesia. He also has senior-management experience in the food-retail and fast-moving-consumer-goods (FMCG) industries. A Ukrainian national, Pavel holds a degree in economics from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Ukraine.
Frédéric Sailly is Executive Vice President of Product Management & Development at Sidel. He joined Sidel in 1999 and has held a number of senior roles within IT, lean manufacturing development and production management in Europe, Asia and the Americas. Prior to his current role, Frédéric was Global Head of Tooling and Head of Blowing for France. He began his international career in France at Procter & Gamble as a process engineer and also worked for Citroën in Portugal. Frédéric holds a degree in mechanical engineering from ICAM Engineering Institute, France, which included studies at University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.
Deepak Kumar is Executive Vice President Human Resources. He joined Sidel in 2017 from Tetra Pak, where he worked for 17 years in a variety of senior human-resources roles in India, Singapore and Sweden, most recently as Vice President Human Resources for Supply Chain Operations at Tetra Pak in Switzerland. Prior to joining Tetra Pak, Deepak held various management roles at Tata Motors in Pune, India.
Marina de Barros is Executive Vice President Marketing & Communications. She joined Sidel in 2009, and since then, has held a number of senior-management positions within Sidel, including Zone Vice President Eastern & Central Europe & Middle East and Vice President Strategic Planning. Marina began her career in 1997 in management consulting for the Chemical, Pharma and FMCG sectors. Marina holds a master’s degree in business administration from University Audencia in France, from which she hails, and also studied at American University in Washington DC.
Christer Carling is exectuive Vice President of Legal Affairs, with overall responsibility for Legal Affairs and Intellectual Property. He joined Sidel as Senior Legal Counsel in 2010, following three years with the Tetra Laval Group as Legal Counsel for Tetra Pak in Stockholm, where he worked with all three Tetra Laval Industry Groups. Christer began his career in 2001 at leading Scandinavian law firm Mannheimer Swartling, where he advised on corporate and mergers and acquisitions matters. He also worked on secondment at the headquarters of Swedish Match. A Swedish national, Christer earned a law degree following his studies at Lund University in Sweden, and McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
Marc Aury is Executive Vice President Customer Management for the Americas Regions. He joined Sidel in 1997 as CEO for Gebo Group - where he began working in 1991 - following its acqusition. During his Sidel tenure, Marc has held a number of Executive Vice President positions witinh Gebo Group, including for the Engineering and Turnkey Division, Operations Americas, and Engineering & Material Handling. Most recently, he was President and Managing Director of Sidel Group's Gebo Cermex business unit. Marc began his career at the Kronenbourg Brewery in France, from which he hails. He holds a master’s degree in engineering from ENSAIA in France, and completed the Wharton Advanced Management Program in the United States.
François Lejard is Executive Vice President Customer Management for the Europe & Central Asia (ECA) Region. He joined Sidel in 1991 as part of the Services organisation, subsequently fulfilling roles in Project Management, Sales, Regional Management, Marketing and Business Development, before spearheading Sales Management in the Middle East, where he developed and led Sidel’s regional subsidiary. François subsequently assumed senior-management roles in Europe, including most recently Sales Vice President ECA, where he has been instrumental in consolidating our Northern Europe Region and developing our presence and business in the ECA Region. François holds a degree in European business from LTP J. D’Arc in France.
